I help families navigate complicated healthcare with more clarity, organization, and confidence.

I understand this from both sides.

For years, I’ve worked in healthcare helping patients and families navigate cancer diagnoses, treatments, appointments, symptoms, specialists, and all of the overwhelming details that come with serious illness.

But my reason for creating CareCompassRN is also deeply personal.

I lost one of my parents to cancer. I lost the other after years of complex healthcare needs that were never adequately addressed.

I know what it feels like to love someone who needs help and wonder:

Are we asking the right questions?

Are all of their doctors communicating?

Are we missing something important?

What are we supposed to do next?

Even with my nursing background, I saw firsthand how difficult our healthcare system can be to navigate.

And I kept thinking about families trying to do the same thing without someone in healthcare to guide them.

That is why I created CareCompassRN.

Healthcare shouldn't require a medical degree to understand.

As an oncology-certified nurse, I understand the clinical side of healthcare.

As a former teacher, I know how to take complicated information and explain it in a way that makes sense.

And as a daughter who has sat on the family side of the healthcare system, I understand how emotional, exhausting, and confusing caring for someone you love can become.

CareCompassRN brings those experiences together.

How I help families

My goal isn't to replace your loved one's doctors or healthcare team.

It's to help you make sense of everything in between.

That might mean helping you:

Organize medical information, appointments, medications, etc.

Prepare questions before an important doctor's appointment

Understand different specialists and how they fit into the bigger picture

Keep family members informed and coordinated

Identify questions and concerns to be addressed by the healthcare team

Create a clearer plan for what needs to happen next

Navigate cancer care or complex medical needs from a distance

Sometimes families don't need another medical appointment.

They need someone who can look at the whole picture and help them figure out where to start.
